ANALISIS KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU LULUSAN NON PGPAUD

The educational background of a teacher influences the quality of their teaching, including pedagogical aspects. This study aims to analyze the development of pedagogical competence among teachers who graduated from non-Early Childhood Education (non-PAUD) programs. The research used a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects were classroom teachers at TK Islam An-Nur Bastari, whose educational backgrounds differ from typical PAUD teachers. The results show that teachers’ educational backgrounds affect their pedagogical competence, especially in understanding child development theories, designing and implementing learning according to developmental stages, and creating active and enjoyable learning environments. However, several aspects still require further development, activity variation, learning reflection, and media use. Therefore, besides educational background, experience, training, and institutional support also play important roles in continuously improving PAUD teachers’ pedagogical competence.
