Abstract

The government's efforts to address malnutrition in toddlers aged 2-5 years include providing supplementary feeding (PMT). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing supplementary feeding (PMT) on toddlers (aged 24-59 months) at the Mawar Integrated Health Post (Posyandu), Mekarsari Village, Anyar District, Serang Regency, in 2025. The results showed that the nutritional status of toddlers aged 24-59 months before PMT was undernourished, with 45 (100%) experiencing nutritional status. There was an increase in the nutritional status of undernourished toddlers aged 24-59 months after receiving PMT, namely 11.1% in the first month, 17.8% in the second month, and 28.9% in the third month, compared to toddlers aged 12-59 months with normal nutritional status. There is an effect of PMT on the nutritional status of undernourished toddlers. It can be concluded that there is an effect of providing supplementary feeding (PMT) on the nutritional status of undernourished toddlers (aged 12-59 months) at the Mawar Integrated Health Post (Posyandu), Mekarsari Village, Anyar District. It is recommended that community health centers maintain the provision of PMT as a way to address malnutrition in toddlers and increase routine monitoring and evaluation of PMT activities, especially variations in PMT flavors and forms, to ensure optimal PMT intake until the end of treatment (90 days).
